This research was conducted using a descriptive–analytical approach and a bibliometric methodology, and it examined 908 scientific documents indexed in the Scopus citation database from 2017 to 2022. Performance analysis and scientific mapping were carried out using Excel, VOSviewer, and R software packages. The findings indicate a significant annual growth in scientific output in this domain, with a gradual shift in research focus from developed markets toward emerging markets. Moreover, the conceptual structure of the existing literature is organized into four main clusters: innovation, dynamic capabilities, international entrepreneurship, and small and medium-sized enterprises. The study further reveals that although developed countries continue to play a dominant role in knowledge production, emerging markets—particularly China—have become new research hubs, highlighting the necessity for deeper conceptual and empirical investigations in this field.</span></p> https://www.journalmbs.com/index.php/jmbs/article/download/139/116
